Hossain contributes to academic leadership, curriculum development (OBE), and research mentoring, supervises undergraduate and postgraduate theses, and coordinates seminars and workshops. He is active in professional networks, conferences, and policy forums, and is an expert in econometric analysis (EViews, R) and accounting information systems. He also participates in sports and student activity committees, supporting both academic and holistic development within the department.
